Meet Kara & Gary.
Dancing is Part of the Journey Through Community Service
Gary and Kara Griffin are proof that public service and fun can go hand-in-hand! This Breezy Point power couple is dedicated to making Crow Wing County a better place—Gary as the Crow Wing County Land Services Director and Kara as the Crow Wing County Community Services Division Manager. Together, they work every day to strengthen their community, and now they’re taking that commitment to the dance floor.
Parents to two adult children, Mykala and Garett, and proud dog parents to Stella and Snoopy, the Griffins know the importance of home and family. Their reason for saying yes to Dancing with the Lakes Area Stars is simple yet powerful: to positively influence the community while having fun together as a couple.
With a fundraising goal of $20,000, Gary and Kara are channeling their professional dedication and personal joy into supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission. Their blend of community leadership, teamwork, and genuine enthusiasm promises to make their performance both inspiring and entertaining. When passion for service meets the joy of dance, everyone wins!
