This September, unleash your creativity and make a difference in your community! We invite you to visit the Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore and choose one item for free to upcycle and transform. Whether you’re a seasoned DIY enthusiast or a first-time upcycler, this is your chance to turn something old into something new and beautiful!
Here’s how it works:
- Select Your Item: Visit the ReStore anytime in September and pick one item that sparks your imagination.
- Upcycle It: Take your item home and let your creativity shine! Upcycle it into something extraordinary.
- Return It: Bring your finished masterpiece back to the ReStore by November 1st to be part of our exciting competition.
- Vote for Your Favorite: During the month of November, the public is invited to vote for their favorite upcycled creation, with the top picks highlighted on our social media channels.
- Auction Day: Mark your calendars for Black Friday when all the upcycled items will be auctioned off, with proceeds supporting Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope.

Not only will you have fun creating something unique, but your upcycled item will also help raise funds to build affordable housing in our community. There will also be prizes in the form of a gift certificate to the ReStore!
